CASHIERS & LINE COOKS Wanted - Trejo's Tacos

CASHIER JOB:
Job Type: Part-time (midshifts & closing shifts, Monday - Fridays)
Pay: $17.87 per hour + Tips

RESPONSIBLITIES:
-Customer Service: Welcome guests warmly, answer questions, provide menu recommendations, and resolve complaints with a helpful, courteous approach.
-Transaction Management: Efficiently operate cash registers and third-party delivery tablets. Accept payments, ensure accurate pricing/quantities, and provide a receipt to every customer.
-Financial Accountability: Balance the cash register at the end of shifts.
-FOH Operations: Package, bag, or wrap food and merchandise purchases securely for guests. Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding gift cards, alcohol sales, and merchandise.
-Station Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace at all times.
QUALITICATIONS:
-Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a cashier role is preferred.
-Technical Skills: Basic math proficiency, computer literacy, and the ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
-Attributes: High level of energy, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence.
-Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and collaborate effectively with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
-Certification: Food Handler Card required.

LINE COOK JOB:
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers.
- Plating prepared foods based on daily pars.
- Working with General Manager to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of cooking experience required.
