We are seeking a passionate, tidy, dependable and dedicated Baker to join our team!! We have part-time opportunities available right now, offering flexibility to suit different needs and preferences. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the creation of an array of baked goods, while consistently maintaining and upholding the highest quality standards in both the taste and presentation of our products. As a Baker within our establishment, you will play a vital and impactful role in contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business.
Responsibilities- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all baked items.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in the training of new staff members on baking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Willing and able to deliver baked goods to additional branches
- Start time is 4:30 AM, will be part-time to start. All days are different so some days will be shorter shifts than others.
- Be willing to drive company van, to deliver to other locations. Only if you a have a valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills
- Must have Food Handlers Permit
- Knowledge of food production.
- Experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment, preferably in baking roles.
- Proficient in food handling and safety regulations.
- Simple math skills.
- Comfortable using industrial sized ovens.
- Excellent knife skills for ingredient preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for the food industry and a commitment to quality.
