Urban Market is seeking a skilled butcher to join our fresh foods team. The ideal candidate has experience in meat cutting, portioning, customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Break down, cut, trim, and prepare beef, chicken, pork, and lamb

Maintain stocked and visually appealing meat displays

Follow safety & sanitation standards

Assist customers with cut requests and product recommendations

Monitor product freshness, rotation, and inventory

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years meat cutting/butcher experience preferred

Knowledge of retail cuts, yields, and portioning

Strong attention to detail & food safety

Ability to lift and stand for extended periods
