Night Shift Cafe Cook - FULL-TIME

Cardinal FG provides an on-site café (The Glass Grill) for our manufacturing facility employees and contractors. The Glass Grill staff are responsible for greeting customers, taking, preparing, and serving food orders, and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions. Responsibilities also include opening & closing the cafeteria and balancing the cash register.

SCHEDULE: 6:30pm to 2:30am, Monday through Friday. There are NO WEEKEND SHIFTS .

STARTING BASE WAGE: $20.80/hr.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Greet customers, take food orders, run cash register
• Prepare food orders using grill, oven, deep fryer
• Mix and prepare baked items
• Store food properly and safely
• Dish washing
• Maintain sanitary and clean environment as required by law
• Honesty, reliability and ability to work independently is a must

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

• ServSafe Certification
• Experience in restaurant cooking and prep work
• Good customer service
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Multi-tasking abilities with the cash register, cooking, and reading recipes
• Must be 18 years of age to apply
• Pass a pre-employment physical ability test and drug screen
