Prep Cook / Line CookIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining kitchen prep standards and supporting daily service operations. Key responsibilities include:Complete and maintain daily prep par lists for all recipes, including checking inventory levels, preparing needed items, documenting notes, and initialing completed tasks.Ensure all recipes and prep items are consistently stocked and available, requiring minimal supervision after the training period.Adapt to changing weekly production needs and adjust prep levels accordingly.Work efficiently and collaboratively in a small, shared kitchen environment.Provide prep support for evening service while assisting with line duties and ticket production during lunch service as needed.Communicate effectively with fellow prep cooks and, most importantly, coordinate closely with evening line cooks to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout all work areas.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of professional kitchen experience required.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team member.Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing kitchen needs and priorities.
