Job Summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in the food service and hospitality industry to help them hire a Line Cook.

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable culinary professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position offers the opportunity to prepare quality food, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute creative ideas while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment

Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures

Set up and stock workstations with ingredients and supplies before service

Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control to ensure consistency

Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and reporting supply shortages

Work efficiently during high-volume service periods while maintaining accuracy and quality

Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to support daily operations and assist with menu development initiatives

Qualifications and Must-Haves

2+ years of kitchen, cook, or food service experience, or equivalent experience

Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills

Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion guidelines

Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 4050 pounds

Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hire

Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
