We are a small, chef-owned and chef-driven seafood restaurant recognized for thoughtful, seasonal cuisine and a deep respect for ingredients, producers, and craft. Our kitchen is collaborative, disciplined, and creative rooted in classical technique while remaining responsive to the seasons and the sea.

We are seeking a Chef de Cuisine to help lead our kitchen day-to-day while contributing meaningfully to the evolution of the food, the team, and the culture.

About the Role

The Chef de Cuisine works closely with the Chef/Owner to execute and develop menus, maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency, and lead the kitchen with clarity and integrity. This is a hands-on leadership position for a chef who values mentorship, organization, and excellence over ego.

Responsibilities

-Execute and help develop seasonally driven menus with a strong focus on seafood

-Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all services

-Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering growth, accountability, and respect

-Oversee daily prep, service, and kitchen flow

-Manage ordering, inventory, food cost, and waste control

-Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards

-Collaborate with the Chef/Owner on menu planning, specials, and sourcing

-Contribute to a positive, professional, and sustainable kitchen culture
