The Culinary Supervisor must have understanding of kitchen operations within the hotel and be able to supervise the Restaurant kitchens. Specific knowledge and experience on the Breakfast Line is required. This Culinary Supervisor can anticipate being scheduled from 05\:00a 02\:30p. The Supervisor is responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guest's needs in a timely manner while supervising the hourly cooks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Our Culinary Supervisor has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of a Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include\:
Basic cost control understanding
Culinary leadership skills
Proficiency in computer skills
Monitoring and processing payroll costs and overtime
Knowledge of ordering and working with the Purchasing team to fulfill needed requisitions
Resourceful, able to make decisions thoughtfully and promptly
The hourly rate range for this position is $32.70/hour to $33.35/hour. The starting rate is $32.70/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the Culinary Supervisor position with Hyatt for four years or more, which is currently offered at $33.35/hour.

- (4) years of previous line experience preferred, in banquet and restaurant kitchens
- Culinary leadership experience preferred
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
- Experience in high-volume kitchens, including breakfast lines and/or From Scratch cooking
- Candidates should be able to perform all basic, intermediate, and advanced cooking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, while standing/walking for long periods of time
- Ability to work multiple stations in the kitchen
- Ability to lift/push/pull a moderate amount of weight
- Strong communication skills
- Open schedule flexibility to include mornings, weekends and holidays required
- Must be available to work from 05\:00a 02\:30p
- Understanding of food safety standards
- Must have Food Handlers Card
