Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a talented Assistant Catering Manager to join our team at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. PayMinimum Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 $54,100 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. - Work closely with Catering Manager to develop and maintain guest relationships
- Assists with booking, set-up and tear down, and full execution of catered events
- Maintain established food presentation and service standards, providing ongoing developments based upon current trends in the catering industry
- Maintain an organized system of comprehensive record-keeping for each catered event, local event days, monthly inventory, requisitions, as well as appropriate levels of related catering supplies and decorations in keeping with the seasons
- Assist with recruitment for hourly team members, including working with the Talent Acquisition team to pre-screen candidates, conduct interviews, and identify individuals for hire
- Minimum of 2 years of previous management or supervisory experience in catering and events and/or banquets
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and customer service skills
- Ability to make informed decisions from analyzed data
- Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ability to learn catering software
- Capacity to stand and walk during shift, ability to move inventory, products, carts, and tables, as well as using kitchen utensils and commercial kitchen equipment
- Possible exposure to variable temperatures and wet and humid conditions
