Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete all training requirements including:
  • Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan
  • Food Safety Certificion
  • Any additional training required by Zax LLC
  • Crees a culture of high-performance and trains and coaches team members to meet all company standards
  • Mentor, coach and develop team members and communice performance concerns to your General Manager
  • Prioritizes the guest and team member experience and resolves complaints and concerns in friendly and respectful manner
  • Cree and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example
  • Communices shift goals and motives team members to meet goals and perform to their highest ability level
  • Deleges tasks to team members and supervises performance during a shift
  • Maintain operional standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxbys Franchising LLC and Zax LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld
  • Enhance guest experiences by ensuring th team members sisfy and exceed guest expections
  • Receives and reconciles truck deliveries, ensures product is properly stocked, and completes daily inventory counts.
  • Manages food production and quality by monitoring prepping, cooking, and holding processes and taking corrective action when necessary
  • Tracks food safety and quality throughout the shift and ensures guests receive accure orders th meet company standards and guests sisfaction
  • Plans shift duties and ensures opening and closing duties are complete
  • Collabores with management team to develop goals and reports back to management on goal progress
  • Ensure processes, policies, and procedures are properly followed throughout daily operions
  • Follows company cash management policies
  • Maintain compliance with federal, ste, and local laws and guidelines
  • Utilize management tools and keep ne, accure, and current records
  • Maintain an titude of flexibility th allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description
  • Ensure the team works safely and follows all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Immediely report all human resources and risk management concerns to your General Manager and District Manager
  • Escale other concerns to your supervisor when approprie
  • All other duties necessary to ensure restaurant operions function properly

Job Qualificions

The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this position.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportion
  • Available to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of background check
  • Demonstres leadership qualities, organizional skills, and ability to interact cooperively with others
  • Leadership experience preferred

  • Work in an environment th feures hot and cold temperure variions and exposure to food allergens
  • Opere and work safely with restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment
