We are seeking a full-time Executive Chef to join our team The Forum Tucson in Tucson, Arizona. Your Role
The Executive Chef plans, directs, and oversees all culinary operions for the community, ensuring high-quality meals th meet resident preferences, dietary needs, and Stellar standards.
- Plan and execute resident menus, including special diets, holiday and themed meals
- Lead, schedule, and train the culinary team (sous chef, cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers)
- Prepare and serve tractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
- Maintain food cost, labor, and inventory within budget
- Order food and supplies; manage vendor relionships and deliveries
- Ensure compliance with all food health and safety regulions and Stellar policies
- Partner with the Dining Room Supervisor and Executive Director on resident sisfaction and dining experience
- Engage with residents and families to gher feedback and tailor the menu to the community
Qualificions
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience; senior living, healthcare, or high-volume hospitality preferred
- Certified Food Protection Manager credential through an ANSI-CFP accredited program (e.g., ServSafe Manager, NRFSP, Prometric, SteFoodSafety) current or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Experience with special diets and meal preparion for large groups
- Proven ability to manage food cost, labor, and inventory
- Strong leadership, communicion, and team-building skills
