We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine specializing in Italian cuisine with strong expertise in premium meats, steaks, and seafood preparation. The ideal candidate is a creative culinary professional with exceptional leadership skills, refined aesthetic food presentation abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of kitchen operations and guest satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee daily kitchen functions, mentor assistant chefs, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our culinary program. Key Responsibilities Design, prepare, and execute high-quality Italian-inspired dishes Specialize in expertly prepared meats, steaks, and seafood Maintain elevated standards for aesthetic food presentation and plating Develop and assist with menu preparation for daily dining service and private events Guide in the preparation of permanent and private event menu offerings Guide, mentor, and train assistant chefs and kitchen staff Schedule kitchen staff and oversee daily team coordination Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and consistency Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards Manage food budgeting, inventory control, and cost management Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and health regulations Coordinate with management regarding kitchen performance and operational needs Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment Qualifications Required Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Italian cuisine Proven expertise in meats, steaks, and seafood preparation Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food cost management Experience leading, scheduling, and training kitchen teams Excellent attention to detail and artistic plating/presentation skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and leadership abilities Must be punctual, cooperative, and a reliable team player Must be available weekends and some holidays Preferred Culinary degree or formal culinary training Experience in upscale or fine dining establishments Knowledge of modern Italian culinary trends and techniques Schedule & Compensation Full-time salaried position Six-day work week Competitive salary based on experience Benefits become available after a 90-day employment period and include: Health insurance Vision and dental insurance Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Performance-based bonuses Employee dining discounts Why Join Our Team?
