About the Role
Mobile Yacht Club is seeking an experienced and reliable Fry Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment with a focus on quality and consistency. Youll prepare high-quality fried dishes for our members, guests, and special events at one of Mobiles premier waterfront venues.
Schedule
4 days per week Thursadays thru Sunday
Additional shifts available for private parties, events, and catering functions (extra pay opportunities)
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of fried items including seafood, appetizers, sides, and specialty dishes to club standards
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
Work efficiently during peak service times while collaborating with the kitchen team
Assist with prep work, station setup, and closing duties
Support private events and parties as needed
Requirements
Minimum 12 years of fry cook or line cook experience in a restaurant, club, or high-volume kitchen preferred
Strong knowledge of frying techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
Reliable transportation and flexible availability
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Food Handlers Permit or ServSafe certification is a plus
