We re building a heart-centered, high-integrity brand rooted in quality, consistency, and clean systems serving both e-commerce customers and our in-person community.### What You ll OwnThis is a hands-on production + operations role. You ll be responsible for making sure cacao production runs smoothly, orders go out accurately, and both locations stay stocked.**Production (Back of House)**- Grind and prepare cacao according to our specs and quality standards- Maintain consistent batch quality, labeling, and storage standards (FIFO)- Keep the kitchen workspace clean, organized, and audit-ready daily**Inventory + Stock Management**- Track inventory levels and maintain par levels for ingredients, packaging, and finished goods- Ensure **both locations** are fully stocked (backstock + ready-to-serve/ship inventory)- Receive deliveries, verify counts/quality, and store product properly**Order Fulfillment (Multi-channel)**- Manage and fulfill orders across **Shopify, Amazon, and online channels**- Pick/pack/ship with accuracy and speed; reduce errors and missed shipments- Coordinate restocks and internal transfers so sales channels don t go out of stock**Supplier + Purchasing Coordination**- Maintain relationships with suppliers and coordinate ordering/reordering- Communicate lead times, shortages, substitutions, and cost changes proactively- Keep purchasing organized (simple logs, invoices, reorder points)### What Great Looks Like (Success Metrics)- Orders ship accurately and on time (low error rate, consistent throughput)- Inventory stays tight: no surprise stockouts, clean counts, clear par levels- Production is consistent: repeatable batches, clean labeling, minimal waste- Kitchen is clean and compliant every day- You show up reliably and communicate early when issues arise### Requirements (Must-Have)- **Current food handler certification** (Texas) and required kitchen/food safety certifications for the role - Strong cleanliness, organization, and consistency (this is non-negotiable)- Experience in a commercial kitchen, production kitchen, or high-volume prep environment- Comfortable lifting/moving kitchen supplies and standing for shifts- Able to work independently, follow SOPs, and maintain standards without micromanagement### Nice-to-Have- Inventory management experience (pars, counts, receiving, FIFO)- Experience with **Shopify** and/or **Amazon** order workflows- Experience with shipping/fulfillment and packaging workflows- ServSafe Manager (or willingness to obtain quickly, if that s what you mean by fully certified )### Schedule & Culture- 30 40 hours/week- Consistent schedule (details shared during interview)- Calm, clean, systems-driven kitchen culture with high standards### How to ApplyReply with:- A short note on your kitchen/production experience- Your availability to start (we prefer within 2 weeks)- Confirmation of current food handler / food safety certifications- Any experience with inventory + Shopify/Amazon fulfillment---## Quick clarification (so the post is legally/operationally accurate)When you say fully certified in the kitchen, do you mean **ServSafe Food Protection Manager** specifically, or just **Texas Food Handler** + any local requirements for your facility?If you answer that + pay range, I ll:1) finalize the posting (with compensation + benefits language), and 2) write a 10-minute phone screen + a paid working interview checklist tailored to cacao grinding + fulfillment + inventory.
