Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at 35 Beach. The ideal candidate will have experience in casual upscale, culinary expertise, and a passion for creating delicious dishes. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation. 

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
• Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
• Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to comply with food safety regulations (ServSafe a plus)
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate a smooth kitchen workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Participate in events as needed.
• Uphold high standards of quality, taste, and presentation for all dishes served.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role .
• Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety practices.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Understanding of food safety practices and procedures
