Job Details OVERVIEW : We are looking for a highly motivated, eager Line Cook to join our team that appreciates the outdoors and working in the elements. We are a luxury outdoor retreat with an eclectic approach to dining. We exist in both the laidback casual dining setting and the unexpected high end locally sourced farm tasting menu. We strive to provide the unexpected, staying true to our roots while focusing on the nuance that makes for a memorable dining experience. We are not boring. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values of Collective Retreats
  • Maintains clean and organized workstations that are cohesive with the restaurants philosophy, culture, and standards of excellence.
  • Operates within the restaurant on a daily basis with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy and initiative.
  • Understands completely all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
  • Displays consistent attention to detail and follow through of all restaurant policies.
REQUIREMENTS: 1-2 years of kitchen preparation and cooking in an upscale restaurant. Ability to communicate effectively with management and staff. Utilizes a variety of cooking styles, times and temperatures: Whole Roast, Quick Sear, Sous Vide, Slicer etc. Sophisticated protein cooking. Must be able to work cleanly, efficiently, with respect for quality ingredients and careful attention to preparation. Fluent in English Authorized to work in the U.S. Must be available to work variable shifts on both weekdays and weekends (25-40 hours/week) Must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20lbs pounds of force constantly to life, push, move or carry objects Must willing to work in an outdoor setting, including all-weather conditions (rain, wind, heat, etc.)
