We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook 3 to join our Culinary team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in professional cooking who are eager to contribute to a high-performing kitchen focused on quality, creativity, and consistency.
Basic Job Duties and Expectations\:
- Ability to prepare food according to recipe specifications and food preparation technique, in a timely and consistent manner.
- Make adjustment to food items to accommodate guest with allergies or specific diet concerns

Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques including sauteing, frying, broiling, and preparation of stocks, sauces, and soups

Operate and maintain multiple kitchen stations with minimal supervision

Support the culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
- Control and minimize waste
- Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.

Minimum 2 years of previous line cooking experience, preferably in a fine dining or upscale hotel setting
Culinary degree or relevant hotel/restaurant experience strongly preferred
Solid understanding of basic and intermediate cooking methods and kitchen operations

Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work under moderate supervision and take initiative when necessary
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
