Seeking a cook for our morning/daytime counter-service cafe

About the Role: FT Line Cook
Our kitchen is open 9am-4pm. We are seeking morning/daytime shift availability - no late shifts! Your availability must include at least one weekend day.
Potential for a 4-day FT schedule.
Previous prep and cooking experience necessary. Baking experience is a plus!
We care about positive team culture and we're looking for someone who wants to contribute to a respectful, friendly, and efficient team. Professional, effective, and kindmunication in the kitchen is expected at all times from all team members.
Please note that the nature of being nested inside a retail plant nursery is significant seasonality. Swansons Cafe is subject to the customer flow of the plant Nursery. We experience the highest customer traffic in spring and during the holidays, and the lowest in January, February, and October. During the interview, our Chef will what you can expect and explore with you how we can create a schedule that supports your needs and also works well for the business.

You have excellentmunication skills and enjoy working on a small, friendly team.
You arefortable working in a variably-paced environment and can adapt to seasonal fast-paced work.
You are flexible and able to change priorities as needed.
You strive to exceed expectations.
You are a team player and able to ask questions when you don't understand and ask for help when you need it.
Wage: Start $21/hour (higher DOE), plus tips
