We are looking for a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As part of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, and presenting high-quality desserts that complement our Japanese steakhouse menu. The right candidate will bring both technical expertise and creativity to elevate our guests dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a dessert menu that incorporates Japanese flavors with contemporary presentation.

  • Prepare a wide range of pastries, cakes, and specialty desserts with consistency and precision.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal offerings and special event menus.

  • Oversee pastry station operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety standards.

  • Manage ingredient inventory, place orders, and control waste.

  • Train, guide, and supervise pastry assistants or support staff when assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar pastry role (fine dining experience preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, flavor profiles, and plating.

  • Creativity and attention to detail in both flavor and presentation.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

  • Culinary degree or equivalent training/experience is a plus.

  • Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $20.00)
