Job Description

Cook 29 temporary full-time positions. 11/1/2025 4/15/2026Prepare a variety of foods for service to guests. Perform food grilling, broiling, roasting, baking, steaming, butchering, and other cooking techniques as needed. Portion, arrange and garnish plates or buffets for service. Preparing food and ingredients for menu recipes and use various kitchen tools and equipment. Inspect and clean food preparation areas and equipment to ensure sanitary food-handling practices. Ensure food is stored, cooked, and rotated correctly. Prepare foods for restaurant, banquets and grab-and-go venues.3 months food service/Cook experience required. must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs, must be able to walk and stand through the duration of shift, must be able to lift and carry a service tray complete with dishes.Normal shift time required of workers include: 6am 2:30pm, 7am 3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, 9am-5:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, 11am-8pm, 12pm-9pm, 2pm-11pm, 3pm-12am, 4pm-1am, 7pm-7am. Holidays and weekends included. Workers will work at least 35 hours per week and will work holidays, weekends, spilt, and rotate shifts. $20.00 per hour. $30.00 per hour OT. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. On the job training will be provided, if necessary, but it is not required. Opportunity for merit increases and bonuses based on company policies. Services charges may be available. Employer will use a single workweek to compute wage due. Employer uses a Sunday Saturday workweek as the standard for computing wages due and are paid bi-weekly. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck as required by law. Employer will provide workers without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. Workers have the option to live in Employer provided housing. $162.50 weekly. $500 deposit in two installments of $250 payroll deducted and $100 administrative processing fee. Housing costs will be payroll deducted if employee elects to make use of them. One meal per shift at no additional cost. Uniforms are provided. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Employer will provide subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging). If the workers require reimbursement for any transportation costs, and subsistence (including meals and lodging), the employer will reimburse workers in the first week. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
