The University of St. Mary of the Lake Seminary is looking for an experienced cook to add to their team.
We provide high quality meals and banquet catering to this faith community. If you love cooking and are looking for a new and supportive place to practice your craft, this is the place! You will work some mornings, some evenings and some weekends, so flexibility is key.
Essential Functions:
- Following standardized recipes and writing menus
- Ensuring all meals meet quality standards, are correctly prepared and within acceptable time limits
- Managing ordering, receiving, storing and inventory control of all perishable products following specific procedures and HACCP standards
- Controlling waste
- Using time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Performs additional related duties as assigned by leadership
- Be present and on time for our clients
- Work overtime as needed
- Flexible Schedule- 5:30AM-2PM or 11AM-7:30PM. Must be able to work weekends.
