Sous Chef ResponsibilitiesStep in as kitchen lead when the Executive Chef is away, making decisions that match our vision.
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure smooth service for all meal periods.
Lead and support the line during service, keeping things running on time and up to standard.
Ensure food safety and cleanliness are always a priority; maintain Department of Health (DOH) compliance.
Support food prep, manage inventory, and assist with ordering and rotation.
Collaborate on new menu items, seasonal dishes, and custom event offerings.
Train, schedule, and mentor junior kitchen staff to build a strong, focused team.
Partner with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience and special request accuracy.
Help execute large-scale events and catering, ensuring quality presentation and timing.
Deliver consistent quality for a la carte dining, estate experiences, and special functions.
