From globally acclaimed chef Ignacio Mattos, Altro Paradiso is an Italian restaurant in the heart of SoHo and an essential New York City dining destination. The restaurants menu draws inspiration from several Italian regions, celebrating timeless craftsmanship throughout. Since opening in 2016, Altro has garnered many devoted regulars, ranging from neighborhood residents to travelers who treat the restaurant like a second home whenever theyre in town.

Cafe Altro Paradiso is now seeking an enthusiastic and skilled part time Line Cook to add to our team. A qualified line cook must work well with others, have a sense of urgency, and enjoy preparing thoughtfully created food. We emphasize a collaborative working environment that allows our whole team to grow and learn.

This is a part time position. Weekend availability is required.

Position Overview

A Line Cook will play a vital role in delivering dishes that meet company standards. They will work closely with our talented chefs to prepare and present menu items following the recipes with precision and accuracy.

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($21.00 - $24.00)
