Summary

We are seeking a Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our team at Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals using fresh ingredients from our orchard, contributing to our mission of promoting healthy eating in a vibrant environment.

With mostly day time hours this job offers great work life balance for experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

Prepare raw items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Receive orders, put away and organize food storage areas.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Clean and sanitize dishes and cooking equipment.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Prep Cook/Dishwasher or in a similar role within the restaurant or food industry.
Strong sense of organization and personal responsibility for a clean work space.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Passion for cooking with fresh, local ingredients.
Motivated self-starter with excellent time management
Authorized to work in the United States
