THE JOB:

As an on-call Cook at Scarpetta in The Cosmopolitan, you'll play a starring role in creating unforgettable dining experiences for our guests by presenting them with WOW moments. This is an opportunity to bring your culinary expertise to a setting that values precision, skill, and creativity.

THE STARTING RATE: $22.8725 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare and execute dining menu items with precision and consistency.

• Work a variety of cook stations from sauteing to grilling orders.

• Create certain dishes from scratch such as the fresh pastas and sauces.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment while ensuring all dishes meet our high-quality standards.

• Collaborate with the culinary team and leadership to create memorable dining experiences.

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques.

• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a Cook.

• Formal Culinary training a plus.
