POSITION OVERVIEW: CHEF DE CUISINE
We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Chef de Cuisine to lead our back-of-house operations at AnQi. The ideal candidate is both creative and disciplined, capable of honoring legacy recipes while driving innovation and ensuring flawless execution across all stations.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Direct oversight of daily kitchen operations, including prep, execution, and closing
Uphold and ensure consistency of House of AN culinary standards, especially Chef Helenes legacy recipes
Lead, train, and develop a diverse BOH team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
Collaborate on menu development, plating, specials, and seasonal rollouts
Monitor inventory, ordering, waste control, and food/labor cost efficiency
Enforce sanitation, health, and safety standards with meticulous care
Oversee private dining and event execution with precision and creativity
Partner with FOH leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience
Maintain a high-energy, solutions-focused kitchen culture
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 35 years in a senior leadership role (CDC or Executive Sous Chef) in a high-volume, upscale fast casual restaurant
Strong background in Asian or fusion cuisine preferred
Proven track record of team leadership, systems implementation, and cost control
Deep understanding of modern kitchen operations, from classical technique to contemporary trends
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Full-time with flexibility for evening service, weekends, holidays, and special events
