Job Description


Job Brief:

We are looking for a line cook to prepare food to the exact specifications of ownership and management. Line cooks assist the kitchen manager and take ownership of daily tasks. Our kitchen staff plays a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Line Cook Responsibilities Include:

Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Prepping food for service (eg chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Breaking down stations and making sure food is labeled and stored properly
Answering, reporting and following kitchen manager's instructions
Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements:

Restaurant experience is a must!
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Availability to work various shifts, including weekends & holidays
Reliable Transportation
