We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an understanding of food safety standards. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. This position is essential in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our clients while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes
Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Keep up-to-date with current food trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food handling, food preparation, or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or dietary needs as required.
