Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper food storage and handling.
- Assist with ingredient preparation, such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager.
- Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and maintaining overall cleanliness.
- Adapt to special requests and dietary restrictions as needed.
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- MUST have a valid California Food Handler's Certification, or able to acquire one upon being hired.
