Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:

  • Maintains all kitchen operations daily including scheduling, ordering, costing, cleanliness and preparing the menu
  • Develops new menu items as needed weekly or seasonally to keep menu fresh & exciting
  • Lead, coach, and develops the BOH team
  • Establishes and enforces nutrition and sanitation standards
  • Responsible for organizing farmer's market visits
  • Maintains professional relationships with vendors
  • Upholds highest standards in food quality, service, and cleanliness at all times

Chef de Cuisine Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine role
  • Strong experience working in upscale reputable Chef-driven concepts with a volume of 2M or higher
  • Exceptional leadership abilities and communication skills; ability to lead with humility and maturity
  • Experience creating exciting and seasonal menus using local ingredients
  • Highly organized, efficient and solution-orientated
  • Must have Food Handler card certified through a Health department
  • Must have solid tenures and career progression
  • Passion for restaurants and the desire to grow with a small reputable concept
