**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Food Preparation:** Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurants menu specifications, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.

- **Menu Contribution:** Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to develop new recipes and contribute to menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.

- **Quality Assurance:** Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure proper handling of food products.

- **Inventory Management:** Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including the ordering and rotation of supplies. Monitor food stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.

- **Cleanliness and Organization:** Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the kitchen. Ensure all cooking equipment, utensils, and workstations are regularly cleaned and maintained.

- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel to ensure efficient service and a seamless guest experience. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

- **Adaptability:** Be prepared to adjust to varying levels of business and changes in menu or kitchen operations, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.

- **Customer Interaction:** Occasionally interact with guests to understand their preferences and provide personalized dining experiences when needed.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.

- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes.

- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements: **

- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift items up to 50 pounds.

- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
