The Pelican Room is seeking an experienced and passionate Brunch Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. Located in lower Westchester in the city of Pelham, New York, just 28 minutes from Grand Central Station, we're a lively coffee house by day and a full-service restaurant by night, offering an eclectic, globally inspired menu. Our brunch service is a highlight, featuring fresh, creative dishes alongside specialty coffee and refreshing cocktails.
As a Brunch Line Cook, you'll play a key role in preparing and executing delicious, high-quality dishes that make our brunch service so special. weekend brunch position available for an experienced, reliable line cook. Strong knowledge of breakfast/egg cookery, plating, and service flow required.
What Were Looking For:
Prior experience working in a fast-paced kitchen, especially with brunch or breakfast menus.
Strong skills in multiple kitchen stations, with a focus on eggs, grills, and sauteing.
A keen eye for detail, ensuring every dish looks and tastes incredible.
The ability to stay organized and efficient during busy brunch rushes.
A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A passion for crafting unique, flavorful dishes that guests will love.
Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a busy brunch service.
