Evening Cook - Boarding School - Easthampton

SAGE Dining Services is seeking an evening cook to join our team at a beautiful boarding school in Easthampton. We are seeking a creative and passionate individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with large scale production of meals. We deliver an extensive and diverse menu including daily meal rotations, pop-up restaurant style service, running a smoker and doing special events in our mobile food trailer for an amazing and equally diverse community.

Duties will include daily preparation and execution of dinner, interacting directly with the student population at active grill stations during meal times, executing special events including plated meals, catering, menu development and more! Schedule:

Sunday - 11:30am - 7:30pm

Monday - Thursday - 11:30am - 7:30pm

What you'll do:

• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
• Maintain the customer service areas to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
• Prepare assigned menu items in accordance with SAGE recipes.
• Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).

What you'll need:

• Experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
• Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner and provide service with a smile!
