We are family owned and operated - open Monday thru Friday from 7am-4pm and Saturday for Brunch from 8am-3pm. We have a strong team of driven individuals that we are looking to grow. OUR PASTRY ASSISTANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWOING: Morning bake off, starting at 5AM Finishing products - filling, frosting, glazing etc Learning & executing pastry counter set up Baking & finishing additional products throughout the shift Bulk production of pastry items 32 hours weekly (4 days) Pastry knowledge/experience preferred Ideal Candidates: Have knowledge of food and/or coffee and are eager to learn about new ingredients and methods Have experience on multiple stations of a restaurant or cafe service Are able to lift, bend, reach and move quickly Are willing and able to learn and grow Support their team members and management Are able to communicate well and in a kind and efficient way Are able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours Perks: Great pay Great hours (nights off) Growth opportunities Staff meal plan Staff discount optional benefits plan for long term employment Principals only.
