Paper Crane is a ramen restaurant that is currently seeking full-time & part-time prep cooks to join our team.
As a prep cook, you will work alongside experienced chefs to assist in full scale ramen and Asian-inspired food production in a brand-new space and kitchen. Butchery, protein and produce processing, sauce, soup/stock production are some examples of the work involved and required.
Large-scale food production as well as receiving orders and deliveries will be your primary job duties. Hours typically begin in the morning from 8am and will encompass a 8-9 hour shift until 4-5pm, or whenever the work required for the day is done. Arrangements and exceptions can be made within reason.
Experience and knowledge as well as relevant skills related to food preparation is ideal, but not strictly necessary. We can teach you the skills needed as long as youre willing to learn.
Insurance is offered for full-time positions. Staff meal is provided and paid for by the restaurant.
