Viking Food Truck Seeking Line Cook and Order Window for Scandi Fest

Scandi Fest is RIGHT around the corner, and we've had a couple positions become available for our food truck, The Galley, Fish & Chips! The Galley is parked right next to the Viking Brewing Beer Garden, located in the newly installed Viking Village. We batter and fry cod to order and serve it over a bed of crispy seasoned fries with house made tartar sauce. Last year was our first year bringing the food truck out to Junction City for this festival, and it was a big hit! We expect to be even busier this year. On any given shift, we will have one cook on the fryer, one cook on assembly/calling out ready orders, one front of house taking orders in the window.

We're looking to bring on a couple people with some kitchen or front of house experience who can handle the heat of a food truck and a fast-paced environment, while keeping a positive attitude. This can be a fun gig with the right team, and that's always what we're aiming for. This is a very popular Festival and the shifts can be long and demanding, hence the $20/hr starting rate, and the tips are solid. The Festival runs Thursday, August 14th-Sunday, August 17th, opening at 10am every day, and closing at 9pm every day, except Sunday, when they close at 8pm.
