We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals cooked from scratch in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Assist in inventory management including product organization, labeling, and storage. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring it meets the highest standards. Support kitchen and restaurant management in various tasks as needed, fostering a cooperative team environment. Qualifications Proven experience in the food industry with focus on a kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Serve Safe Food Handling Certification will be required. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
