Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook/Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values cleanliness and organization, and is eager to grow in the culinary field.

Key Responsibilities:
Prep Cook Duties:
Assist with daily food preparation tasks (chopping, portioning, marinating, etc.) following established recipes and Chef instructions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, refrigerators, and dry storage
Label and date food items properly; rotate stock (FIFO method)
Support line cooks and chefs during service as needed
Dishwasher Duties:
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to health standards
Maintain a clean and organized dish area and ensure all equipment is stored properly
Take out trash and assist in kitchen closing procedures
Maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, and trash bins

Requirements:
Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and with a sense of urgency
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and cleanliness
Able to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Must be available for evenings and weekends as needed
