We are seeking a reliable, skilled Cook who can confidently prepare food consistent with the style and quality of the Copper City Grill menu in Ansonia, CT. The ideal candidate has experience with classic American bistro fare steaks, burgers, seafood, pasta, salads, appetizers and can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to presentation
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Assist with prep work and inventory as needed
Work well with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience
Familiarity with menus similar to Copper City Grill (American grill / casual dining)
Strong knife skills and multitasking abilities
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Dependable transportation to/from Ansonia
Bonus Points:
Experience in high-volume kitchens
ServSafe certification (or equivalent)
Comfortable with light catering and private events
