We have been nominated for several James Beard awards and are located in the Capitol Hill/Central District area of Seattle.
We are actively searching for a professional, self-motivated cook who is passionate, empathetic and who strives to provide consistently amazing food to guests, while supporting our Chef in a fluid and dynamic working environment.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
A love and passion for all styles of food.
A minimum of five years of experience.
Organization, cleanliness, attention to detail andmunication is key.
An even-tempered cook will click with our small team, as t is no division between front of house and back of house. Those with big egos and hot tempers need not .
Confidence is an asset, as is the ability to question, debate and re-think everything.
We offer:
Competitive, fair wages, based upon experience.
A set schedule that allows you to still have a personal life (3-4 days/week, full time and part time).
The opportunity to work in a small but well-equipped kitchen with many fun toys and gadgets to experiment with.
The opportunity to learn everything you would need to know to move forward with your career, as we are a smaller venue, very transparent and supportive of people who want to improve and develop.
Our menu changes often and we do 2-3 multi-course dinners a year, along with special menus for buy-outs, so t is plenty of opportunity to stretch one s creative legs in this position.
