Job SummaryAs the Assistant Pastry Chef, youll work closely with the Pastry Chef to execute our dessert menu, prepare components for service, assist with specials and seasonal items, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry station.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and plate a variety of desserts for service, following recipes and presentation standards.
Assist with prep for cakes, tarts, mousses, ice creams, and other rotating items.
Support the Pastry Chef in developing specials and menu updates.
Maintain proper food storage, rotation, and labeling.
Uphold kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
Help manage pastry mise en place for service and events.
Communicate clearly and professionally with BOH and FOH teams.
12 years pastry experience in a restaurant or bakery setting.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients.
Excellent attention to detail and plating.
Ability to follow direction and work in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for desserts and a willingness to grow and learn.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Compensation: Hourly ($17.95 - $20.00)
