Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented individual to join our restaurant as a Cook & Restaurant Support Team Member. This is a dynamic position ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. In addition to cooking and preparing food to order, you will assist with food prep, run food to tables, bus and reset tables, and support the overall front and back-of-house operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Duties:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe and presentation standards.
Assist with daily prep work, including chopping, portioning, and stocking.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness andpliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain food storage areas, keeping themanized and properly labeled.
Front-of-House Support:
Run food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and friendly manner.
Assist servers as needed to deliver excellent guest service.
Bus tables and reset them quickly for the next guests.
Keep dining and service areas clean, stocked, and wellanized.
General Responsibilities:
Jump in w needed during service rushes and slow times alike.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and coworkers.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or similar restaurant role is a plus, but not required.
Willingness to cross-train and help in various areas of the restaurant.
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
