Prep Cook & Deli Associate

Sundance Natural Foods has 2 open positions in our Kitchen/Deli.

We have 3 shifts available for PRODUCTION COOK position: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 8:00AM- 4:00 PM.
We have 2 shifts available for DELI ASSOCIATE position: Tuesday & Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Cooks work as part of a team to prepare fresh, organic, vegetarian and vegan food.
Previous food service experience is important, especially knife work and familiarity with kitchen equipment as well as food safety/health code knowledge, and ability to be focused and productive.

An interest in natural and organic foods is necessary.
Wage starts at $16.75 per hour.

Candidate will show attention to detail, orientation toward safety, a willingness to learn new techniques, and excitement to be part of a positive, supportive work environment.

Qualifications include:
- Ability to work around heat (oven/stove) and cold (walk-in cooler/freezer)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Ability to work effectively both alone and with others
