Responsibilities
Prepare scheduled menus for residents and staff, following proper sanitation regulations and ensure quality and freshness of meals provided.
Prepare and serve meals on time and clean up following meals.
Stock inventory as needed, including labeling, dating and using the FIFO method.
Receive orders, assure quantity and quality of meals, andmunicate food service information, as needed, to other NCH staff.
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have at least 1 year of cooking experience.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred
Minimum 1 year experience with homestyle quantity cooking.
Knife skills
Knowledge of sanitation procedures
