Culinary Assistant

Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, a Cassia community, is hiring a Culinary Assistants to join our team. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.

Position Type: Part-Time

Shifts Available:

Days 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Range: $15.50 - $20.83 / hour depending on experience.

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

Culinary Assistant Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
• Previous serving/dining experience is plus, but not required! We will train!
