Yellowstone Club’s Culinary department is currently seeking candidates for a Baker Assistant for the Summer season.
Purpose: To assist the head baker with all baking production.

Essential Job Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Must be able to work overnight shift
- Manage delivery logistics of bakery products to all restaurant outlets
- Work with the head baker to with the core processes listed below:
- Viennoiserie (croissants, danish, puff pastry)
- Sourdough (naturally leavened breads, high hydration doughs)
- Baguettes ( mix, shape and bake)
- Donuts (Multiple varieties, including cake and some GF)
- Quick breads (muffins, coffee cakes)
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
- Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.

Experience/Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree; Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field; 6+ years as a line cook; 3+ years of staff management experience or equivalent; Comprehensive knowledge of world class hospitality and service management.
Experience/Education Preferred:
Experience as a Baker in both independent operations and luxury hotels is preferred.
Certificates & Licenses:
Valid State Driver’s License; Current ServSafe Certification.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge level of Microsoft Office systems: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook Orca Inventory.
Language Ability:
Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors, and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.
Math Ability:
Able to perform basic math calculations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve problems and/or know when it is necessary to additional assistance when needed.
