Don Strange of Texas is now accepting applications for a Baker. Our bakers are required to prepare

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Measuring andbining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment

Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.

Keeping records related to inventory, deliveries, production levels and deadlines

Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring equipment is sanitized and prepared for following shift

Ad to recipes and ensure smooth and safe operations

maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen

Ensurepletepliance with all food, safety and physical standards and policies

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in the culinary field.

Experience in high-volume, quality-oriented catering, restaurant or banquets experience is preferred

Excellent volume cooking and presentation skills

Excellentmunication skills (written and oral) and good listening skills

Thoroughness, attention to detail, and excellentanizational skills

Ability to work andmunicate with a variety of people of different skill levels and varied backgrounds

Ability to effectively handle many tasks at once in a fast-paced work environment

Good decision-making and ability to proactively make changes as needed

Ad to required cleaning and sanitation standards

Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends.

Food Handler Certification, required

Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
