COMMUNION is a full service Restaurant & Bar lead by James Beard Finalist Chef Kristi Brown & Her Son/Business Partner Damon Bomar.
COMMUNION is a space w spirits, food, and culture collide. Our mission is to foster a closeness that attends a sense of belonging through culinary exploration and the celebration of ourmunity.
Our Service: Upscale Casual & Craft Cocktail Bar
Capacity: 62 Seats + 9 Seats the bar | Average turns: 2.5/night
Shifts: Vary
This position start with part time with the potential of growing into full-time.
Candidate must be enthusiastic & customer service oriented
fortable in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must be skilled and knowledgeable of restaurant culture
Looking for experienced Line Cooks & Prep Cooks.
WOMEN CHEFS/COOKS are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO !!!
$21 - $25 per hour (tips not included in wages)
Weekly Tips (+ $10/hr)
Medical + Dental + Vision (Full time)

Job Description and Primary Duties:
Dedicated to working the line with zeal.
Set up line in a timely manner and in accordance with what station you are working that day
Know how to prepareponents of each dish on your station
Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients per station
Plating prepared food based on sous/executive chefs guidance
Working with servers to ensure orders arepleted according to request and on time
Familiar or memorize and utilize serving portion sizes and all basic meal preparation procedures used in the kitchen
Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on quality standards and control schedule
Ability to follow direction, and meet standards
Communicate with expo and support team clearly on needs and status of order
Competencies
Integrity - requires being honest and ethical
Dependability - requires being reliable, responsible and dependable and fulfilling obligations
Leadership - requires a willingness to to lead, take charge and offer opinions and direction
Cooperation - requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured cooperative attitude
