Job Description Description

Under the general supervision of the Food Service Manager, the Cook will prepare food for patient services, cafe and catering. All items will be prepared according to standardized recipes, diet order, consistency modification guidelines, and daily menu. The cook will also ensure a timely service. Demonstrates behavior practices that reflect the philosophy and mission of our sponsors, Providence Health and Services, our founders, the Dominican Sisters, and Providence Mount Carmel Hospital's Standards of Conduct.

Required qualifications:

Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Completion of a vocational school in food service.

2 years of experience in Institutional Quantity Cooking.
