Looking for Cooks for the Brownville area with the following requirements:

BASIC FUNCTION:

? Responsible for food production in their area

? Keep the Kitchen Board forms up to date

? Maintain the highest professional standards of food quality and sanitation

SUPPORT OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS:

? Ensure that all services to customers are performed in a highly professional and efficient manner.

? Create a safe working environment and foster a positive attitude among all employees in their areas of responsibility.

? Other duties might be assigned.

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS AND JOB OBJECTIVES:

? Ensure that food preparation, organization, and cleanliness are done correctly within their assigned area.

? Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in all kitchen areas.

? Responsible for minimizing waste.

? Safeguard employee safety in food preparation, sanitation, and accident prevention.

? Ensure high quality in their work and control costs by managing portion sizes for all served items.

? Always adhere to their work schedule.

? Attend the daily briefing.

? Interact with food and beverage management to consistently exceed expectations and quality in food production.

? Follow the cleaning schedule for their areas and kitchen equipment.

? Support safe work habits and environments at all times.

? Perform any other tasks assigned by the GM, AM, or Kitchen Manager

OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

? Ability to interact with supervisors, management, and coworkers positively and professionally.

? Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner that is accurate, complete, and of high quality.

? Ability to be punctual, follow instructions, provide constructive feedback, maintain a good working environment with coworkers and collaborators, treat them with respect and courtesy,

JOB PROFILE

? Know the restaurant's food centers, services, facilities, and amenities.

? Must possess strong culinary knowledge.

? Capable of applying service standards in their functions.

? Must have basic knowledge of electronic equipment handling.

PHYSICAL CONDITION:

? Activities take place indoors where the temperature must be managed and controlled by environmental equipment and outdoors where it may be extremely hot or raining.

? Ability to work under pressure and in an open environment in the eyesight of customers and other coworkers (open kitchen concept) ; Able to move around for long work periods.

? Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, push carts and work equipment occasionally.

? Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to perform tasks.

? Ability to perform repetitive movements, with good hearing, vision, and mental acuity.

? Visualize ongoing activities and perceive common occurrences .

? Manual dexterity to use and handle support equipment for tasks.

? Always maintain a positive attitude and willingness to solve potential problems.

ACADEMIC LEVEL:

? Education: High School education required(added bonus if youre fluent in Spanish)

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the position preferably

? Presentation: Maintain personal appearance, be properly uniformed with the necessary work equipment

? Personal: All employees must be clean and well-groomed.
